Focus Infocom Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in February 2003. The company was issued a license for the provision and operation of commercial Internet service on May 2003 and commenced Internet service in December 2003. Individuals from the local business community and respected businesses invested in the company.
Focus Infocom is also one of the investors of WARF Telecom International, a joint venture company formed between Wataniya Telecom Maldives, Reliance Infocom of India and Focus Infocom to install a Submarine optic fibre cable system between Maldives and India linking Maldives to the global submarine fibre cable system.
We are continuously expanding our network to cover more atolls and islands. Our services are provided using wireless and wired technology. We currently provide service to over 15 islands in 6 atolls. Our future plans will seek to cover every inhabited island in the Maldives with a broadband network delivering high speed Internet and other broadband and data services.
The company’s network development and service provisioning is undertaken by a team of highly skilled and motivated staff.
